How do I make a claim?

If you’re making a motor claim, call +44 (0) 800 328 9076. The motor claims helpline is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If the accident involves injury to any person, the police should be notified immediately.

Where can I download a claim form?

We don’t use claim forms. Instead, in the first instance please contact the motor claims helpline on +44 (0) 800 328 9076.

How do I track the progress of a claim?

Please speak to the claims handler advised to you in the acknowledgment advice that you received. Their contact details are allocated on receipt of your claim. If that information is not easily to hand or you have any further queries, please contact the motor claims helpline on +44 (0) 800 328 9076.

What happens after I have lodged a claim?

The motor claims helpline will provide you with all the information you need. We’ll agree a plan and keep you informed of progress.

Refer to your policy for the contact details. If you still need help, contact the motor claims helpline on 0800 328 9076.

I've got a query on my policy. Who do I contact?

If you have a general enquiry in respect of your policy please contact your broker or intermediary. If you have a claims query in respect of your policy please refer to the acknowledgement advice that you received when you notified your claim. In the alternative please contact the appropriate claims helplines detailed in “How do I make a claim?”

I haven't received my renewal notice yet. Who do I contact?

RIL is no longer licensed to issue renewals. Please contact your broker or intermediary.

I need to obtain proof of my no claims discount (NCD) or no claims bonus (NCB). Who do I contact?

How do I notify a UK disease claim?

Please provide details of the claim to diseaseclaims@rsml.co.uk or call us on 01473 554177.

How do I make a claim that doesn’t involve disease?
